ABOUT OUR SCHOOL
Ever since 1974, Moncada South Central Elementary School has been providing students with a rich and diverse learning environment. Our unparalleled teaching methods help to launch students into the successful future they have always dreamed of. Moncada South Central Elementary School is located in Poblacion 1, Moncada, Tarlac and has over 500 students and a renowned staff of 28. We encourage both staff and pupils alike to grow, learn and create each passing day.

National Teachers' Month 2016
The Department of Education celebrates the National Teachers' Month (NTM) from September 05 to October 05, 2016 which is also the National Teachers' Day (NTD) and World Teachers' Day (WTD). This is pursuant to Presidential Proclamation No. 242 entitled "Declaring the Period from September 05 to October 05 of Every Year as National Teachers' Month, as well as Republic Acto 10743 entitled "Declaring the 5th Day of October Every Year as the National Teachers' Day, and the designation of the World Teachers' Day every 5th of October by the United Nations Education and Culture Organizations (UNESCO).

UNITED NATIONS MONTH
October 2016
24 October has been celebrated as United Nations Day since 1948. In 1971, the United Nations General Assembly recommended that the day be observed by Member States as a public holiday.

MONCADA LGU DONATES SCHOOL BUILDING
July 20, 2016
Moncada South Central Elementry School received the BEA-type school building inaugurated on July 20, 2016.
The project was completed within three-month period of continuous work. It is worth Php 1.2 M.
A modern-type building serves as a faculty room.
Funds came from the Local Government Unit under the leadership of Hon. Mayor Benito E. Aquino.
Rev. Father Hernan – officiated the blessing ceremony. After the blessing, an inaugural program followed.
The occasion was graced by the supportive mayor, municipal employees, school heads, teachers, PTA officers and some people of the locality.
MSCES CELEBRATES NUTRITION MONTH
July 30, 2016
The annual Nutrition Month Celebration was held July 30, 2016 with the theme: “First 1000 days ni baby pahalagahan”.
A variety of presentation from all classes like sons, dances, tula, acrostic, and sabayang pagbigkas were featured.
Contest on Poster making and Slogan made the event a competitive one wherein participants in all grade levels showcase their talents. A cook fest also highlighted the affair.
The value of thriftiness was observed by the pupils by having a coin bank with them wherein they would save their baon. The most number of savings wins the title.
They were: G & Bb. Nutrisyon 2016 Leonel Yasay III and Caludine F. Garcia; Shiro Rhein B. Disu and Eureka Mae Cabical bagged the title of G & Bb. Kalusugan; G & Bb. Bitamina Marc Janzen Porado and Victoria Fe R. Role; G & Bb. Mineral Rick Raver Calderon and Dyn Ashley Nichole Manuel; G & Bb. Kalikasan Maddox Ezekiel O. Llorente and Diseree B. Samonte.
Through the participation of the MSCES teaching staff, parents, and PTA officers, the celebration ended successfully and the camaraderie was achieved.
The OIC’s of the month Mrs. Cristina Cariaga, Ms. Catherine Dumantay, Mrs. Leilyn Evangelista and Mrs. Jocelyn Gabriel spearhead the program and activities.
MSCES CELEBRATES BUWAN NG WIKA
August 26, 2016
MSCES celebrated Buwan ng Wika on August 26, 2016 with the theme: “Filipino, Wika ng Karunungan” to give importance to our national language.
The celebration was a classroom-based wherein pupils dressed themselves with their preferred Filipiñana attire.
High participation rate among pupils expected wherein everybody in the class had the chance to showcase his/her talent.
Presentation like songs, tula, acrostic, dances, sabayang pagbigkas and choruses as well as best in Costume were also observed in every class.
Awarding was done by class with the initiative of the class advisers. It was an enjoyable activity for everyone.
